Most of the closed coal storage shed structures are mainly completed with reinforced concrete and steel structures. From the perspective of structural form, the roof generally adopts a space frame/truss/gantry/air-bearing membrane, etc., and different structural forms have different characteristics. Among them, the space frame is a commonly used roof structure in the area due to its good space and durability.

The coal storage shed of the thermal power plant adopts an arched barrel steel space frame structure and a single laminated steel plate enclosure. The dry coal storage shed is 410 m long from east to west, spans 194 m from south to north, and has a vault height of about 43.706 m.
