(1)The structural form of the steel space frame in this project is: a high-order statically indeterminate space structure is regularly composed of many rods from two directions or multiple directions, which changes the stress system of the general plane truss and can withstand loads from all directions.
(2)The biggest feature of the space frame is that due to the mutual support between the rods, it has high rigidity, good integrity, strong earthquake resistance, and can withstand the adverse effects caused by uneven settlement of the foundation, even when individual rods are damaged. It can also automatically adjust the internal force of the rod to maintain the safety of the structure.
(3)The space frame structure has great adaptability and can be used not only for small and medium-span buildings but also for large-span houses and workshops.
(4)The space frame is convenient to obtain materials, generally using Q235 steel or Q355 steel, and most of the rods are high-frequency welded pipes or seamless steel pipes.
(5)Due to the standardization of the structure, rods and nodes, the steel space frame is suitable for industrial production, which accelerates the progress of the project and improves the quality.
