Compared with other general processes, the heat treatment of metal does not cause major changes to the shape and composition of the material, but changes the internal fine structure of the metal material or metal workpiece from a microscopic point of view, or changes the surface of the metal material or metal workpiece. Changes are made to achieve the required performance. Among the characteristics of heat treatment of metal materials, this point is very special. In the steel structure of many buildings, the shape and chemical composition of metal materials or metal workpieces cannot be changed, but there are very high requirements for the mechanical and chemical properties of metal materials or metal workpieces. Among them, noise pollution and electromagnetic pollution can be effectively dealt with and avoided easily, and noise elimination devices and electromagnetic shielding devices can be installed. In the process of metal heat treatment, the quenching process will produce organic matter and chemicals, which will cause water pollution or air pollution to varying degrees. While accelerating the application of new technologies for heat treatment of metal materials, attention must also be paid to the environmental pollution caused during the entire process.
2.3 Current status of energy saving and environmental protection in heat treatment of metal materials in my country
Since the reform and opening up, science and technology in various fields of our country have developed rapidly, and our national economy has also been steadily improving. Heat treatment of metal materials is more and more widely used in various fields, and its superior performance control plays an increasingly obvious role in production and life. However, the various negative effects that follow have become more and more obvious, and have not received due attention. From the current point of view, the main problem of metal material heat treatment technology is that there is a serious shortage of funds invested in research and practical application; there are few scientific researchers engaged in the research of metal material heat treatment technology; most of the companies engaged in metal material heat treatment in my country are closed. The promotion and exchange of heat treatment technology for metal materials has been seriously hindered.
3 New technology and new energy to realize energy saving in heat treatment
New energy enables heat treatment to save energy. At present, my country still uses fuel combustion as the main method of heat treatment of metal materials, and it is difficult to change in the short term. Therefore, in the process of processing, more clean energy should be used, and the old inefficient and highly polluting energy should be replaced by new energy and clean energy. Due to the restriction of the heating principle, the thermal efficiency of coal power is less than 30%, while the heating efficiency of natural gas is about 80% compared with coal power. Therefore, rational use of new energy is an effective way to improve the heat treatment of metal materials.
