Dhaka International airport terminal building project in Bangladesh has a total steel volume of 20,000 tons. The roof structure is a modular unit composed of main sub-pipe trusses.

The steel structure roof of the project adopts the whole bulk of the main truss roof and the whole lifting scheme of the sub-truss. The difficulty of the project lies in the large hoisting radius, the maximum hoisting radius is about 70 meters. The first main truss has a span of 28m and a dead weight of 9 tons and is hosted by a crawler crane of 200 tons and the main boom of 60 meters.
