How to determine the height of the space frame

What is the span in the space frame structure?

The span in the space frame structure refers to the distance between the two ends of the load-bearing structure in the building, between the beam and the arch coupon, and between the centers of the two pivot points.

The space frame height and space frame size should be determined according to the span size, loading conditions, column net size, bracing conditions, space frame form, construction requirements and building functions. space frame height to span ratio should be 1/18 ~ 1/10, the number of short-span space frame should not be less than 5. 2.The triangular cone is the smallest element that constitutes the geometric invariant of the space structure;

3.The nodes of a space structure consisting of planes of triangular figures are intersections of at least three planes.
