The International Expo Center project consists of five functional areas: conference and exhibition, covered property, roof garden, underground shopping mall, underground garage and computer room. According to the plan, there are nine zones: Zone I for the conference section, Zone II, III, IV and V for the exhibition section, Zone VI, VII and VIII for the overlying property Towers A, B and C, and Zone IX for the sunken plaza.
The main dimensions of the bolted ball space frame structure are the space frame size (referring to the top chord space frame size) and the height of the space frame. When determining these dimensions, factors such as span size, column mesh size, roofing materials, as well as construction requirements and building functions should be considered.

This project adopts the bolt ball node is placed quad-angle cone three-center cylindrical surface net shell structure, the span of the space frame is 96m, the longitudinal length is 315m, the form of lower string support, the spacing of the ground support of the space frame is arranged according to 8m, the thickness of the space frame is designed according to 3m, and the top of the space frame is 32.5m high.

This project requires that the deflection of the space frame is controlled within 1/1000 under the joint action of live load and crane load. The stiffness of the space frame structure mainly depends on the thickness of the space frame, so in the design process, the double-layer welded ball space frame and the three-layer welded ball space frame are selected for trial calculation and comparison under different thickness.
Although the welded ball space frame cost is relatively high, but the overall stiffness and joint stiffness are better than the bolt ball space frame, the peak internal force of the rod is greatly increased, can be used for large-span structure, and can bear large joint load, hanging joint structure is easy to handle. According to the span and suspension of this project, the fully welded ball joint space frame is selected.

This project is a dry -election project for the company's iron ore. The project mainly includes two factory buildings, two independent storage warehouses, transport stations, and twelve tape machinery corridors. The factory buildings are dry elections and rollers, and the storage warehouses include cylindrical warehouses and crude ore warehouses.
